Supporting Survivors After Leaving: Post-Separation Abuse Awareness

Description:

Leaving an abusive relationship does not always mean the end of danger. This training focuses on post-separation abuse, including ongoing harassment, stalking, manipulation, and coercive control that can continue after a survivor has left. Participants will explore the risks survivors face, the tactics abusers may use to maintain control, and the systemic challenges survivors encounter. The session emphasizes trauma-informed strategies for supporting safety, empowerment, and well-being, helping participants respond effectively to the realities of abuse after separation.
